Since the early 1990’s, Filipino families from Bread of Life Philippines who had migrated to the States have been praying for a church to open in the Bay Area. Upon learning that an outreach opened in Los Angeles, they earnestly desired to have a church of their own in San Francisco.

Since the early 2000’s, members from Bread of Life Philippines living in New York dreamt to start a church in their city as well. Understanding the need for community amongst the overseas Filipinos, they expressed their desire by taking part in the yearly three-day prayer and fasting held in California. In 2009, Pinnacle Village New York officially opened and became the church’s first work in the East Coast.
